First of all let me start by saying that I am referring to American Football, not Futbol or what we in America call soccer. I do not want to confuse anyone by the title.
If you have watched any football this 2022-2023 season, you will know that this year has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. First, we had Tom Brady return to the NFL after retiring for a whomping 2 months. However his return wasn't what we would expect. In short, Tom Brady hasn't been "Tom Bradying" for most of the season. Then some how in some way, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended up clinching the playoffs. Say what?!?
Second, Aaron Rodgers loses his best receiver due to his own indecisiveness about staying or retiring from the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers struggle the entire season loss after loss until they finally hit a winning streak in December and somehow have to beat the Detroit Lions to clinch the wildcard for a playoff seat. And let me just say, the Packers v. Lions game is looking like it's going to be a showdown.
Third, the Eagles who started off the season with a perfect 8-0 record get their "perfection" questioned by the Washington Commanders. Oh God, and the Commanders can't even get into the playoffs due a slew of bad calls made by Ron Rivera. His worst call? Choosing Carson Wentz over Taylor Heinicke to quarterback the game that would make or break their playoff spot. Sad, isn't it? I mean after the launch of the new uniform, wrapped Teslas all over town to advertise the new name (yea I was one of them), the monumental win over the Eagles, you just knew they were finally going to do something different this year and make get in to the playoffs. Eh, guess more changes need to be made.
Then with one of the biggest AFC games of the year, we see the Buffalo Bill's defensive end Damar Hamlin complete a tackle against the Cincinnati Bengals that sends him into cardiac arrest on the field with the whole world watching live. NFL players, medical teams, sports media at-large, social media, and every fan to the game of football all across the United States hoping and praying that we all did NOT just witness a man die on the Cincinnati Bengal's football field. For nearly 4 days, we all waited for some bit of evidence that after 9 mins of CPR on the field, 2 cardiac arrests (1 on the field, 1 in the hospital), and over 48hours in sedation, Damar had successfully pulled through to give the infamous "thumbs up" that his life had been spared.
Talk about stress! For some, that amount of stress is unbearable. I won't even go into the amount of bets or survivor challenges lost due to the number of the upsets or comeback wins throughout the season. It's pretty bad and the last thing I want to do is bring up bad memories or become someone's 13th reason.
All in all for the love of the game, fans everywhere put themselves through undue stress during football season. But if the stress becomes unmanageable, and you just can't seem to turn off the TV to miss a game that may make you have heart palpitations, here are list of the best weed strains in DC that can help you keep your stress and anxiety a little more in check.

This sativa strain is an oldie but goody that never fails to keep relaxed, happy, and active. If It Is one of those days where you plan to visit a local bar to view as many games as possible but don't want too be tired or bar stool stuck, White Widow is perfect.
